While in Montana we stopped at the National Bison (Buffalo) Range and saw many animals! I love the gentle fall colors in these pictures. Maybe they're especially beautiful since I've been surrounded by white for so long.
Buffalos are mighty animals, we have a couple of farmers with those over here. I like the series of portraits and it's nice to se another color that white around ;-)
AbFab lisa, what wonderful images. What is the two-tone bit on the back of the one buffalo? Looks like a fluffy saddle somehow. And as you say, the grassy stretch is very attractive. Am I right in thinking that buffalo milk makes a great mozzarella? Something for your new 'cooking from scratch' regime:-) ?
OH MY! I absolutely LOVE Bison, Lisa! these are magnificent. I particularly like the photo of the one bison walking away. You've done a beautiful job of photographing them - as always!
Love the Buffalo...my dream trip is to Montana, maybe next year God willing, for now, thanks for letting me live vicariously through you ;-) Pictures are fantastic.
Wonderful views of the Bison & pronghorn! You have a definite talent to see the world with your camera. This was my first visit to your blog (via Camera Critters) but it will NOT be my last! Thanks for sharing!

ReplyDeleteYou have some nice closeups. Were you walking, driving or in a tour bus? Looks like a good place to explore.
