A few days ago I shared the 22 degree halo I got to enjoy. Well on each side of the arc was a sundog (atmospheric optics). Very cool! no? Right side. . .
Sorry to sound stupid... is a sundog the name for the cloud formation? or the colors of the sun?? or what??? it's very interesting but I'm not sure what I'm looking at. My kid knows a lot about clouds and I want to impress her with your knowledge!!!!! Thanks.
