The trees are naked now, exposing their twists and turns, making no excuses for the way they jut this way and that. Soaking up the sun and air on every single inch, resting, so that they may grow even more beautiful. I see chemotherapy as a time of regathering strength, preparing to burst forth with even stronger buds.

Wonderful up shot!
ReplyDeleteI saw trees just like this on our hike today. What a great shot to start your year #5 in pictures. As you embark on your photographic journey, we will be traveling with you. Your words and your photography are beautiful, and it is so special that you want to share them with all of us. Genie
ReplyDeleteI love how simple this image is and the perspective you shot it at....it really makes this tree look massive!
ReplyDeleteAnd I know you are - just like this beautiful tree!
ReplyDeleteDo not sweat the other night - I just had a meltdown of sorts! You know I will email in a skinny-minute! :)
Love it great prospective.... and by the way I thought of you when taking my pictures today. I, so, want it to be Margarita and not the Packers....
ReplyDeleteLove the upshot! It is one of my favorite ways to look. Sometimes, we have to have a little bad in order to really appreciate the good. I love your perspective on Photos and on life.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful bare tree. They can look stunning can't they? And lots of shrubs that have lost all their leaves already have buds getting ready for next year.
ReplyDeleteNow we can see the details in the bark of the tree! I like it..
ReplyDeleteYup, it's gonna be cold soon, and I'm NOT looking forward to that!
ReplyDeleteThat's a wonderful image of strength to keep in your head! Very stark and beautiful photo!
