Macro Monday is easy to play, snap a macro (or any close-up) photo, post it on your blog and come back here and sign Mr Linky. Don't forget to visit each other. :)
Travel Scrabble helps Haden and I make it through many hours of riding.
And my sweet little Blackberry (with crappy camera!) helps me stay in touch with everyone across the miles.
Fun photos - and that last one is so vibrant and colorful1
ReplyDelete... but where is Mr Linky?
ReplyDeleteOops - found him - my page was having problems loading. Sorry. ;)
ReplyDeleteYour ability to get so much DOF in a macro always astonishes me. I have much to learn in that way yet.
ReplyDeleteI'm back again after a too-short long weekend. That did not produce my Macro Monday for this week. It came from a different beach in a different year.
How's Dennis doing? Better I hope!
Pumpkin time! Well, not really pumpkins. YET. My garden is looking good. Happy Macro Monday. Travel Scrabble is one of the best purchases we ever made.

I like these very much. A Blackberry might take the sting of intermittent Internet access--or sometimes none at all--while on vacation. Your photo has me thinking. My life might be less of a macrocosmic scrabble with sucha toy!
ReplyDeleteI love the first one with that spot of light!
ReplyDeleteNice angles on all of these.
Very interesting shots this week!
ReplyDeleteI've got mine posted!
Cool theme. Gotta love that Travel Scrabble! I'm in!
ReplyDeleteI have never seen a scrabble board like that, it must be a newer version! But I loooove scrabble, I'm an addict!
ReplyDeleteScrabble used to be my family favorite pass time, but now with the 2 sons not having much time at home, it's just collecting dust at home!
ReplyDeleteI love scrabble and I love your travel scrabble pictures! Thanks for hosting this.
ReplyDeleteBest wishes for a speedy recovery for Dennis.
Ah, Scrabble. I love that game. I can't imagine using a real board again -- too much computer Scrabble. Words are fun and your images of the scrabble board are kind of electric.
ReplyDeleteJohn
I have that same Travel Scrabble. Looks like it was a good game - with a very nice flow.
ReplyDelete'Zesty' reminded me a George Carlin stand up joke on advertising words. Whoever who played that word would have scored big!
What a special subject ! I used to play scrabble a lot !
ReplyDeleteI remember playing scrabble alot as a kid...my aunt had one of those little fold up ones for the beach! I haven't played in years....I, too, am getting rather used to the computer games!! I couldn't be without my little Palm Centro which keeps me in touch wirelessly wherever I happen to be! Love this set of pics!! Hope Dennis is feeling better!!
ReplyDeletegood ideas, and great shots
ReplyDeleteVery artistic angles on those scrabble boards! Wow does that game bring back many hours of fond mixed with frustrating memories! Definitely a game in the legend department! And love the blackberry shot too!
ReplyDeleteThe scrabble shots are my favorite in how you approached them with the different angles. Nicely done.
ReplyDeleteThe first two I thought for a moment it's a billboard on a tall builduing.
ReplyDeleteGreat shots and idea :D!
Neat shots...

ReplyDeleteWe didn't have any travel scrabble, but I am LOVING my blackberry. I played a couple of games in that while we were traveling.
ReplyDeleteI am new here.
ReplyDeleteLovely shots, I really like the lines in the second scrabble board...so crisp.
Mine is here: Capturing Tranquility
Love your letters this week Lisa. I played too :-)
ReplyDeleteOh these are wonderful..I have been so busy with the summer outside stuff - I never thought of inside stuff - wonderful!!! Sarah
ReplyDeleteWhat great shots. I love the way you get the focus perfect everytime. I don't think I will ever learn that.
ReplyDeleteI LOVE those Scrabble shots - those are awesome.
ReplyDeleteTravel Scrabble looks like a fun way to kill time while underway. Hmmm.
ReplyDeleteLove your shots, as usual. I played too, but I almost forgot to sign Mr Linky!
Very fun and creative photos! Happy Monday!
ReplyDeleteI recently played scrabble for the very first time in my life. Where have I been all these years?
ReplyDeleteWhat wonderful angles:)
ReplyDeleteI love playing games. Have you tried upwards? It is fun as well!
ReplyDeleteI love the blackberry photo. It looks retro to me. I had no idea it was something technologically advanced.
ReplyDeleteNice angles.

Yes, Scrabble! The game of my childhood. My mom played a mean defensive game and taught me much strategy. And a good vocabulary doesn't hurt! Thanks for the closeup view of the beloved wooden tiles.
ReplyDeletewe travel with that same scrabble board. it's the best.
ReplyDeleteLisa, Scrabble is a great game. I've played many times.
