Morel Macro Monday

I almost ran over some morel mushrooms with the mower!  Instead, husband cut them up and had them with a steak.

If you haven't made it over to my new blog you may not know that I have a new baby granddaughter now. :)  She was born on my 10th wedding anniversary, last Friday.  She's perfect in every way!

    Thank you very much for hosting Macro Monday. I am sure you are immensely enjoying your new grandbaby. I don't know about morel mushroom, but it looks something like a pastry and not a mushroom. Sorry for the ignorance, i just read it, because they don't grow in the tropics.

    Oh Yum! These are blonde morel's. We picked some of the darker variety up at my brother's cabin over the Memorial Day weekend. They sure are tasty. Wow it was a surprise to day to learn you have given up Macro Monday but nice to know it will still be carried on. I wish you luck with that Earthship house, very interesting read about it. Congrats to on the new granddaughter, children are so precious.
