Baby Bird Macro Monday

I chased this baby around for a little bit, but it was so scared I quickly left it alone.

I'm not sure but think it might have come from this nest above?

  1. That baby is probably as big as its mama, wonder if there's no more room in the mud nest if it is from there? Nice shot showing baby's fluffy feathers on his back.

  11. Parents are probably watching over the baby on the ground. Hopefully, he'll be fine.

  16. He looks big enough to be out of the nest and Mom and Dad are probably going to feed him until he is independent ... if he is not flying yet , he will have to hide to be safe. Hope it all turns out for the best. Beautiful shot though ... don't recognize the bird. Do you know what kind of bird he is?
