Macro Monday

I call him Suckface, seems appropriate. He looks so weird, and prehistoric.

  9. They are such wierd fish. Whe we had one (fish was a while ago, I'm allergic to the food), my husband had nightmares about the pleco leaving the tank!

  11. I don't think I've never been so up close and personal with a fish.

  12. I just love the sucker fish. We had one with our 50 gallon tank, a long time ago....wish I still had that tank. You know, I tend to get rid of things, in the moment, only to want them back later. We just don't have the space to keep something that we're not using. Sorry, thinking out loud :)

Great shots of your little sucker!!

  41. They really are strange looking fish.

  42. Whenever we have had fish we always have at least one Pleco. The first one I ever had I named "Simon". And after that any one like that I have owned I always call Simon. If we have more than one in the same tank, then it's Simon1, Simon 2, and so on, so when I saw these pictures my first thought was, "Oh, look! She has a Simon!!" It just seems like the right name.
