Hold on just a little while longer dear friends, the snow will leave us soon.
At least my friend with the bum foot and broken beak doesn't have to deal with snow too. He had wonderful weather in Louisiana, maybe he could send some sunshine up here. . .please?
I posted a shivering mourning dove yesterday. He was all fluffed out and sitting on the roof of our utility shed. He would have looked nicer with snow, but fortunately we didn't get more than a few flakes. The snow does make for beautiful pictures, but please go away until next year...
ReplyDeleteGreat shots, Lisa! I love the Redbellied woodie. And the dove shot is very pretty. I am so ready for spring and wish this cold weather would go away. Have a wonderful weekend.
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh these are great! Those doves look freezing! I am in love w/ the woodpecker!
ReplyDeleteAwww. At least they have food, thanks to you! :)
ReplyDeleteI love how in the first photo you can tell the birds are puffing out their feathers to try and stay warm. Too cute.
ReplyDeleteThey sure do look cold in that top photo...The poor one with the bum foot and beak, at least he can fly.
ReplyDeleteThese are beautiful shots. Love the softly falling snow.

ReplyDeleteMakes me wonder how those little birds last through the long, cold winters. Brrrr!
