When I'm feeling low, I let myself get lost in the sky, the longer I look, the more my mind travels and it seems in no time at all my problems seem so small.

Thats quite a beautiful photo. I'm pretty sure those three bright stars are Orion's belt.
ReplyDeleteRight you are Wayne! You can also see Canis Major, Canis Minor, and Taurus in this shot. I've been working on some stargazing tutorials, if you want to brush up on your constellation-recognition-level astronomy:

This is a beautiful capture, Lisa! I love the color of the sky.
A big sky like this makes you really want to think about what tiny beings we are doesn't it?
ReplyDeleteWe LOVE to have a bonfire at night and just watch the stars. Up north, we would wrap ourselves in blankets even on quite chilly nights - the fire kept us warm too.
ReplyDeleteI feel totally the same about the sky. I love looking at it. Very nice photo!!
ReplyDeleteLooks so pretty. I'm with you. A good long stare into the night sky really does make you feel small -- we're just tiny spots on this earth. I don't feel so bad about falling off my diet wagon now. =D
