As much as I love, love, love, snow, I really am ready for it to go, go, go. :0) So until the ground is no longer white, maybe I should keep flowers around continually.
Macro Monday is easy to play, snap a macro (or any close-up) photo, post it on your blog and come back here and sign MckLinky. :) MM started on Sept 29, 2008 - THANX to all of you for helping make it such a fun start to the week!
That last image is gorgeous - well, they all are, but that last one in particular. Rose petals always looked so soft and silky, you just want to bury your nose in them and inhale their heady scent forever....
ReplyDeleteValentine roses galore ?
ReplyDeleteWhat a lot you got :-)
and how fresh and beautiful they still are.
All of those shots are just spectacular, but I LOVE the color of that last one. The lighting on the yellow rose is perfect!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous roses, in many different colors, Lisa!
ReplyDeleteSo gorgeous...I can almost smell through the computer.
ReplyDeleteI bought my wife two dozen, one red, one pink, for our 23rd Wedding Anniversary, which was yesterday. I was just getting my gear out to take some photos when I saw this weeks MM was announced.
ReplyDeleteRoses make for killer monochromes, especially when printed on metallic paper. :-)
That are so beautiful especially the last photo. Great macro!
ReplyDeleteHave a Nice Day!
white roses are my favorite, so pretty! Macro Monday since '08, really? Can I say I remember when?!
ReplyDeleteOh, white roses are my favorite.

ReplyDeleteBeautiful photos of roses always make me sigh...with yearning, with contentment, with appreciation, and with wonder at Nature's creation. SIGH...SIGH...SIGH...

ReplyDeleteHi Lisa,
ReplyDeleteRoses never looked so good! That last peachy shot is sensational. What a great angle. I'm posting my Wisteria macro this week. The petals will soon fall to the sidewalk, but boy were they beautiful this past week.

ReplyDeleteBeautiful roses! Spring was progressing quite nicely in the Ozarks until it was preempted by winter-like reruns.
ReplyDeleteLOVE roses... lovely images! We woke up to snow this morning but it wasn't very much and it didn't last very long.

ReplyDeleteI got home quite late last night, but your Macro Monday wasn't up yet, and now I've overslept and I'm late instead of being early! LOL! Never mind. I'm in now!
ReplyDeleteYour beautiful roses are such a coincidence. I went down to visit Mum for her birthday celebrations (91 today!) and took her a mixed bouquet of roses in many different colours, mixed just with a little gypsophila. She was thrilled with it, and your lovely photos brought that moment back to me! Thanks - I get to enjoy her happiness twice! ;)
Roses - so beautiful and so romantic - awesome!
