These pictures are so cool. I love how close up and shiny they look. I used to play with toy cars with my older brother when I was little. Thank you for those memories.
Happy WW! Mine is at : http://ordinaryandawesome.blogspot.com/search/label/WW
Amazing series of images. Very beautiful captures. The person you stole these toys from seems to be pretty serious and possessive about them, I hope he did not mind.
Hehe! The poor kid. Love the shots, though. The best is #5. Can you blow that up to real size for me?!? #6 looks like a cross between a Scion and a golf cart!
Ooh! You just gave me a great idea. I've got one of those Micro Machines... a '69 GTO Judge (or at least in Judge orange anyway) that's just begging to be shot!
That's as close as I'll ever come to the real thing I guess... I had a '69 GTO ragtop in another lifetime, but not the Judge.
He has a nice collection....beware, my son grew up and still wants a collection of cars. Just made me think about "was it my fault?" by giving a collection like this when he was small.
Very nice toys, my husband might be jealous. (Cute kid too)
ReplyDeleteYou are a stunning photographer, wow. Just... wow.
ReplyDeleteI found your site, then lost it, and now found it again on Jenners site. BOOKMARKED!
ps. I'm beginning to think I need a new blogging platform. something to show off my photos a bit better.
I do want to play! That little guy sure has kissable cheeks!

ReplyDeleteMy little brother used to do that...he'd spend hours lining up his cars like that. Very cute shots!
ReplyDeleteI'd steal them too...especially the hot rod. Love fast cars...even toy replicas ;-)
ReplyDeleteGreat series.
Great reflections...and a great idea: no more having to seek out vintage car shows...just make your own! :-)

ReplyDeleteI love the way you highlighted the cars, and then went to the car owner. Oh, and the bike powered car is my favorite.

ReplyDeleteMy guy would LOVE to play with him and all those cars! Boys and their toys!
ReplyDeleteNormally, I hate cars (they don't seem to know how to fix themselves and end up in the garage). These I like.
