First, I have to fess up that this is one of those old, very old, fashioned hair dryers. You guys are great guessers!! I picked it up at a rummage sale a few years ago for a quarter! And I use it to dry my dogs off because it's quieter and gentler than an average hair dryer. I keep it by the sliding glass door in the kitchen in the winter and use it to thaw out the door enough to open in the winter. ;)
Macro Monday is easy to play, snap a macro (or any close-up) photo, post it on your blog and come back here and sign Mr Linky. Don't forget to visit each other. :)
I suppose I could drag these out, but there are so many things to take a close look at that I’ll share them all and just overload you on flowers.
Oops, sorry I temporarily forgot Mr Linky
Ah, what a nice, warm Macro Monday for me to look at! I wish I had some flowers to photograph but they are currently being doused in snow again. *sigh*
ReplyDeleteHappy Monday, I hope you have a wonderful week!! *HUGS*
Amazing flower closeups Lisa! WOW.
ReplyDeleteThese are so cool. Flowers looks so strange so close up ... like weird alien planets. Love this!
ReplyDeleteNot sure why, but I think #6 is my favorite. Although the orange one right after it looks practically edible. Like a Dreamsicle or something.
ReplyDeleteAnd boy did I ever miss the boat on the hair dryer! Guess I have medical stuff on the brain lately or something. Or maybe it's just that my Spring-O-Meter (sinuses) are pegged these days from the pollen.
I feel positively pedestrian in my offering for this week by comparison!
Ooooo-weee those are some pretty flower shots!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous shots! Incredible details! Discovery of an amazing and secret world! I like very much!
ReplyDeleteWow they are all great photos!!!! :) Did anyone guess that one correct? I'm going to go look!
ReplyDeleteI love the flower macros! so amazingly beautiful.
ReplyDeleteI have to get something so I'm able to do macro photography. I tried to take a pic of a bee over the weekend, and it was out of focus. I was so disappointed.
ReplyDeleteUnlike your pics, which are great. I see you're doing flowers. Has spring come to Wisconsin? :)
I'm totally overloaded on flowers and bright beautiful flower colors now. Thanks, Lisa. What's that orange one? It looks like it would tickle.
ReplyDeleteI haven't seen one of those hairdryers in YEARS!!! Brings back good memories though!! And I absolutely, positively love all of your beautiful flower shots....they are stunning!! We were over on St. Simons Island the other day and I saw this woman walking around carrying this huge honkin' camera....and I mean the lens was HUGE!! I thought of you immediately!
ReplyDeleteGreat flower macros, I gotta do some of those soon. Meanwhile I got a fly to share!
ReplyDeleteBreath taking!!!
ReplyDeleteIt's great to see all these blossoms. I was thinking it should be spring...although the weather people say we're going to get 6 to 8 inches of snow today.
ReplyDeleteAs always your pictures totally amaze me!! Gorgeous micro shots!
ReplyDeleteI have to ask what lens did you use?
And also can I ask your opinion on what lens you would shot with if you were shooting wedding pictures?
Anytime you want to overload me on flowers, please do so!!! These colors are so beautiful. They make me want to dance...
ReplyDeleteP.S. I'm inspired... Happy Inspirational Monday!
ReplyDeleteThe colors on these flowers are just amazing!
ReplyDeletegetting ready for saturday night, i used to nap with that very same hair dryer on, over curlers, before i straightened my hair. love the photo.
ReplyDeleteOh wow! Fantastic shots!! I love them!!
ReplyDeleteThe detail in those pictures is incredible! Flowers are so fascinating when you really look close at them and you've done a great job of showing that.
ReplyDeleteVery juicy & deliciously beautiful colors!!
ReplyDeleteSince winter decided to rear its ugly head again today, these flowers are perfect!
ReplyDeleteThese flowers are such a welcome sight, on this cold rainy Monday morning. Brightened my day!
ReplyDeleteHi Lisa,
ReplyDeleteBeautiful close ups of those flowers! I really like the orange one. It's the third one from the bottom. All those stripes, who would have thought a flower had stripes. Mine is posted. Have a great day!!
Sherrie
I ♥ the orange and white one. Candy stripes!
ReplyDeleteewwwwww --- I see a little bit of georgia o-keefe in a couple of those shots. heh heh..
ReplyDeleteOh, I love these close ups. I can smell the flowers! :)
ReplyDeleteAnd I wouldn't have guessed a hair dryer :D
(But I sure want a macro lens, sniffles,..... ;) )
I love the star gazer's ...you have two of my favorites...!
ReplyDeleteMy photo was another winter storm...I hope it is our last!
Hugs for all you share...and I would have never guess a hair dryer!!

What a great way to care for the pups. I like this shot very much, and I am blown away by your flower shots.
ReplyDeleteGreat pictures!
ReplyDeleteLooks like you have FAR more blooms in your neck of the woods than in ours! Isn't it great to have some spring color again!?!
