Macro Monday Hermit

IMG_8142

When I stumbled upon this hermit crab it made me remember a time I vacationed with my grandparents along the gulf and brought home a bag of shells.  When we got home, I dumped the shells out on the porch to show my cousin and one started crawling away!  We both jumped screaming, lol.  Cut me some slack though, I was only 8 at the time.

  2. Cute little guys. I'd scream a little today if part of a shell collection started crawling away.

  13. love the story! I like the ripples seen in the water scene. I have never seen a hermit crab in nature, only in a relative's aquarium.
