Eeeeeuw!!! Just saw Quentin Tarantino's new movie Django Unchained...blood everywhere!!! So this little carcass is the tip of the iceberg!!! Great shots of the Eagle!!!
Bingo! Great capture and the eagle is just fierce. No competition for his dinner though. :-) Where were you to find him? Surely not in your own backyard?
Wow, those are amazing shots! I just saw my first bald eagle (about 2 dozen actually) a couple of weeks ago. We got to watch one eating what I assume was a Canada Goose, but he was a bit far out on a frozen lake.
It is amazing all the characteristics we assign to birds of prey. Sadly they are most likely they are just eating, and surviving. They are truly majestic when they fly.
Oh Lisa! the pictures are beautiful. The first picture looks like the Eagle is saying Grace before he digs in to his prey!
