Not trying to start a debate, no matter what side you're on, I thought the pattern was neat.
Macro Monday is easy to play, snap a macro (or any close-up) photo, post it on your blog and come back here and sign MckLinky. :) MM started on Sept 29, 2008 - THANX to all of you for helping make it such a fun start to the week!
Beautiful designs and we can say that both of our images have motives that could kill ;), my interpretation!
ReplyDeleteHave a great start to the week, wonderful Monday!
Wow, first, you are very brave (this can be a touchy subject) and secondly, these are very cool! I love the reflection in the second macro...enjoy your day!
ReplyDeleteVery cool pattern. My father was a gunsmith, so this is quite familiar to me :)
ReplyDelete:)
ReplyDeleteI love and appreciate guns. I love holding them, looking at them, shooting them, learning about them. When you truly respect the firearm, it's a whole different thing.
ReplyDeleteThese are beautiful macros.
Neat macros (with a sensitive theme). I had trouble linking up my photo today (iPad...) Is it possible to delete my link,so I can try again? Thanks! Have a great day:)
ReplyDeleteMy peaceful soul first thought it was a typewriter and at the second glance buttons ! Still not finding out what it was a read what was written on the "buttons" and then the penny dropped ! Would be impossible to take such a picture in a normal household in Belgium, guns strictly forbidden and that is good so, not all people " truly respect the firearm," as mentioned by Misty Dawn.
ReplyDeleteHi,
ReplyDeletethought I'd link up as I too love macro!
I've linked back to your blog - hope that's the way it's done.
I haven't been here for a while, it's great to be back with your wonderful macro monday challenge
ReplyDeleteLove your macro this week Lisa! Beauty can be found everywhere.
ReplyDeleteYou are right the patterns are great but the subject matter sends a chill down my spine.
ReplyDeleteMollyxxx
interesting patterns Lisa.
ReplyDeleteyes, neat patterns! reminds me of being a kid and helping my grandpa make shotgun shells. obviously, the subject matter doesn't bug me!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great idea for a macro shot. I would never have thought of this. :-)
ReplyDeleteThe pattern is very neat...I love it!!! This debate sparked an incident at our Toastmasters club last week...so sad to bring that into a professional setting like that. I so love how you angled this photo...great job!!!
ReplyDeleteI like these patterns too. My husband is a certified NRA instructor, a range safety officer and he shoots handguns in competition so this is a pretty familiar sight.
ReplyDeleteGreat pattern, the angle of the second shot is very intriguing.
ReplyDeleteVery neat, Liza! (though, I still have to ask hubby what it is...LOL) :-)
ReplyDeleteGreat shot and I love the pattern - not something many people would see in the UK but I won't get into the debate.
