Just a Big Cypress Jaunt
There's a little bird up there somewhere, we heard him from the trail, never did spot him though.
We did spot some oranges and grapefruit though.
I never knew that orange trees have thorns! Ouch.
We all sent Haden up anyway. He came down with a lot of oranges and a few scratches.
The grapefruit were a wee bit easier to get too. Not much though, lol.
No critters on this trip, but we did keep our eyes open for panthers and alligators. If they were near, we never saw them.

Looks like a tropical paradise. I hope your tree climber was rewarded with some fresh oranges. I enjoyed your pictures.
ReplyDeleteWe both have a pic of grapefruit hanging in a tree today! I wonder if they taste the same?
ReplyDeleteWow! Trafic of panther and and alligators!
ReplyDeleteGreat pictures!
Oh! I love those oranges. What a beauty !
ReplyDeleteMy home, Florida :) I can see an orange tree out the window right now :)
ReplyDeleteI never knew Orange trees had thorns either. Much less evil, wicked nasty thorns like that!
ReplyDeleteAnd if the only Florida Panthers I encounter are the guys on the hockey team, I'll be quite satisfied thanks. Never been a cat person anyway.
Looks like the Everglades to me Lisa! Brings back some great memories.
ReplyDeleteI didn't know about the thorns either... and I've picked a few oranges --
