Photographing birds are never easy, I know! you must have some cool lens to be able to captured these. I've seen a few photographers with long zoom lens looking for birds in our wetland area. Your photos are truly amazing.
Wow those herons are so blue ours look much more like the ones below. I've seen them winging there way home in the eveing sky and standing out in our yard and our neighbor early mornings before there is anyone to disturb them
One of my favorite things about living in Florida was the birds, but I never saw this many different kinds while I was there. I rather like the "little" brown bird in the third picture.
Awesome shooting. I can almost hear the crickets... those are crickets I'm hearing, right? It's like being there, that's my point. And the color on that blue guy is amazing!

ReplyDeleteThat young black crowned night heron ... great shot.
ReplyDeleteYou make me want to abandon my desk and go walk along the river in search of such beauties. Love the peekaboo eyes on the third shot!
ReplyDeleteI like that second shot, somehow the bird almost looks like he's floating there, the fit tend to fade into the background.
ReplyDeleteI especially like the first photo this time. Can see it matted and hanging on the wall.
ReplyDeleteAll of your photos are always so amazing, but I really think the starkness of the first one makes me appreciate the peacefulness of the picture.
ReplyDeleteYou do have birds on the brain, lately! But you're not a birdbrain by any means.
ReplyDeleteSome of these guys have pretty bad posture!
