What's for breakfast?
I'm not much of a morning person and it looks like this Wood Stork isn't either, lol.
I do love early morning lighting, even though I don't like early morning so much.
The reflections are pretty nice too. But while these birds are looking for breakfast they better beware. . .
I would guess he has a pretty big appetite.
Am I evil that I actually wanted to see a gator snag some breakfast?
Oh, btw I have added some new photos to my gallery for purchase. The link to get there is at the bottom of the page, way down there. :0)

It's actually kind of exciting to see a gator snatch its food. Imagine the great shots you would be capturing! It's not so evil, they're just caught up in the Food Web! So it's okay!
ReplyDeleteI love the reflection photo.
Have you tried sending your photos to National Geographic? They choose a number of it for every issue.
I agree, it would have made some very spectacular photos!
ReplyDeleteWhoa...Gorgeous photos Lisa. Love the reflection ones! Did you tell those birds to fly away before the gator comes?
ReplyDeleteThe second shot's reflection is my favorite.
ReplyDeleteLike you, I'd love to see an alligator in action. Scary, but soo cool!
I guess the gator was not that hungry after all. lol
ReplyDeleteLove the reflections!

Those are gorgeous, Lisa!
ReplyDeleteAnd nope, now worries about being evil. Action shots of hungry gators would be highly interesting ;)
i think i'd love to see the gator taking his breakfast but just as surely i would cringe at the sight of another life being lost. great shots. have a great day.
ReplyDeleteoh my--I'd be getting out of there :)
ReplyDeleteNot evil - it's the food chain at it's finest. That first shot looks like always feel in the mornings LOL
ReplyDeleteGreat photos. My feeling is that alligators are horrible creatures to preserve! So sneaky and fast. And ugly.
ReplyDeleteLet them feed on the fish, not the birds!
wonderful images! love the 5th one down...that's one loooong gator ;)
ReplyDeleteI've never seen a gator THAT close before! I don't think you are evil....just curious! Beautiful set of pictures!

That's a beautiful pic of the juvenile woodstork!!
ReplyDeleteThe 'gator adds a whole new dimension to the concept of cruising. Way neat shots. This morning person just loves 'em!
ReplyDeleteHe does look a bit grumpy doesn't he?
ReplyDeleteYou DO have to get up with the birds to get good shots of the birds, that is so true. But, it is worth it as these are gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteAs to whether or not you are evil? I think not. Curious, perhaps...
Your comments on that first one really made me chuckle. Great photos again as usual. Sometimes it's difficult to get up in the mornings, but the glorious lighting in these sure made it worth it!
