Longing.  It's absolutely normal to have moments of longing for the way things used to be; to yearn for those old days not filled with oncologist appointments and needle sticks.

Just a Big Cypress Jaunt

There's a little bird up there somewhere, we heard him from the trail, never did spot him though.

We did spot some oranges and grapefruit though.

I never knew that orange trees have thorns! Ouch.

We all sent Haden up anyway. He came down with a lot of oranges and a few scratches.

The grapefruit were a wee bit easier to get too. Not much though, lol.

No critters on this trip, but we did keep our eyes open for panthers and alligators. If they were near, we never saw them.
