Thankful for Starbucks!
I am so very thankfully, daily, to the happy, friendly baristas we have at our local Starbucks! We visit at least once every single day! Most often, twice. . .shhhhh. But part of our addiction are the fabulous people working there! We have become more than customers to them, we have dinner with some of them, shoot pictures of most of them, and absolutely enjoy them!
I think Soua was wishing I would hurry up and take my drink so she could get back in out of the snow. If there's a second thing I'm thankful for it's that my tall no whip mocha frappucino is just 200 calories and I can happily have one while dieting and still lose weight.
This is my first time participating in weekly gratitude but I'm thinking I can find something to be thankful for once a week. :0)

ReplyDeleteI am a Starbucks fan too...but I can't afford to go daily! When I do my favorite is Gingerbread Latte or White Mocha. Yum!
ReplyDeleteI like Starbucks, but have to say that I LOVE Panera Bread. *sigh* I could use a little something-something from there right about now.
ReplyDeleteOh, I so like the idea of weeky gratitude posts!
ReplyDeleteYour photo subjects seems so happy and willing to participate...no wonder you like them so much! :)
LOVE Starbucks. And also LOVED that when I was doing WW that a frap still fit into my daily point allowance. I would have to say that the only thing I wished that out of the 4 Starbuck's in this area that just one had a drive-thru window. ~sigh~
ReplyDeleteWe don"t have one that close to us but when we go i do love it.
ReplyDeleteI'm not a fan of coffee ... but I love their ginger cookies!
ReplyDeleteFriends come from all sorts of places! And they do seem pretty happy!

ReplyDeleteVal
What beautiful smiles!
ReplyDeleteI love Starbucks too but don't visit often any more (limited income due to retirement made me make significant choices ya know) except to buy beans to take home to gring & brew myself ... but I do enjoy the friendly folks who work there and occasionally I meet a friend for coffee and splurge. I didn't know about 'Weekly Gratitude' but I'm planning to click on the button to see where it leads ... because ya know how I feel about practicing gratitude, right? Thanks for sharing ;-)
ReplyDeleteHugs and blessings,
How funny! What a good idea for a post! I love starbucks hot chocolate!
ReplyDeleteFriendly service is a great blessing and when you get new friends out of the deal even better!
ReplyDeleteah... it's the little things that mean a lot! :o) Happy Weekend, Lisa ((HUGS))
ReplyDeleteI love coffee, but do I dare admit that I have never been to Starbucks? A friend gave me a gift certificate though, and I'll have to try one of their mocha thingies. :)
ReplyDeletenice start to a day :)
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely post. Look at those smiling faces. With two kids working in the (mostly) thankless food industry, I know this means a lot to these lovely people.
ReplyDeleteI love your pictures of the happy starbuck baristas! Too cute. I can't even remember the last time I visited a Starbucks much less imagine going daily. My husband truly frowns on all those fruity coffee drinks. LOL
ReplyDeleteStarbucks is also in our country
ReplyDeletenot so long I drink also tooooo many coffee ;)
Have a wonderful weekend!!
What a neat idea! And they do seem very friendly and sweet!!!
ReplyDeleteI visit Caribou Coffee almost EVERY day for my caramel high rises. A very expensive habit. Shhh, don't tell anyone :)
ReplyDeleteWeekly gratitude is a good one. Great post, Lisa. Those are some pretty smiling faces that greet you.
ReplyDeletewe all need a daily treat -- and yours are a couple of baristas!!!!
ReplyDeleteMocha Frappucino! Absolutely, hands down, my FAVORITE drink of all time!!
ReplyDeleteThere's a Starbucks about half a mile from my house that's always overrun in the mornings. I could handle a Venti latte (sometimes with optional vanilla) but parking is absurd there and I object to drive thru's on a philosophical level so what's a guy to do? So I just pack my own brew for the drive into work and let it go at that. But give me the chance at a visit to Tate Street Coffee House in Greensboro and I'm so there!
ReplyDeleteNo Starbucks out here! Not unless a group of cows decided to open one... at least they'd get their milk/cream for free. hehe sorry bad joke.
