ooo... SCRUMPTIOUS pizza, Lisa! It's dinner time my side of the world, and I am really hungry now after seeing this! We love pizza... it's often a Saturday night treat for us with a film/DVD. Is it Saturday yet?! LOL! Happy Day ((HUGS))
I am curious about the ice water though, in combination with the yeast, is that to prevent the dough from rising and to make a crispy crust? Why bother with yeast at all then?
I'm not too great of a cook, so I am honestly curious.
Oh you ambitious person. ;) My Mom used to make pizza from scratch, whole wheat dough I might add too. It's one of those food groups I miss from my childhood. I haven't been able to convince her to do it in a while. Bet it was some tasty pizza!
I have been trying to make homemade pizza more often and I've been really enjoying it. I confess though I haven't made my own dough in a long time but I plan to get back into that. I've never frozen it before but I hear of alot of people doing that, so I think I'll give it a shot. it looks like you do too with them in the freezer bags in your photos. Any hints? and I can't tell what you have the pizza on, is it a pizza stone or a cookie sheet??
