Hands up!
Things have been a little chaotic around here lately and I almost forgot to share the ornaments I made out of the grandkids hands. Rather than trace around their hands multiple times I traced them each once on paper, then used it as a template on the dough. I used an exacto knife to cut the dough and a straw to make the hole for ribbon to be inserted. I then used a sharpie to write their name and Christmas 2009 on the back of the ornament.

ReplyDeleteAwww!! Those are adorable.
ReplyDeleteSo when do we get to see the finished product?
ReplyDeleteGood idea for Christmas ornaments. Making one every year to see how the kids grow would be a neat idea. Eventually you could string them all on a garland. :)
