When Jientje visited from Belgium she brought this sweet little angel to live with me.
Such a sweet little face.
Hope you all had a wonderful, extended weekend, enjoying these first few days of the new year. :0)
Macro Monday is easy to play, snap a macro (or any close-up) photo, post it on your blog and come back here and sign MckLinky. Don't forget to visit each other. :)
Lovely Angel Lisa!!
ReplyDeleteWow, I can't believe I'm first in the linky list!
ReplyDeleteLove the little angel. He has a slightly old-fashioned look to him, very European! What a great gift!
Beautiful gift and a great macro of this little angel. Is that a palette in his hand?
ReplyDeleteGreat picture to start off the new year!
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful little face. I am so happy to be back on schedule and that I actually figured out what day it is! I hope you had a wonderful holiday, Lisa!
ReplyDeleteWonderful shots of this beautiful angel.
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful gift. I love the last shot.
ReplyDeleteThese are amazing!
ReplyDeleteyou are doubly blessed. 1) to meet jientje in person and 2) to have this lovely little angel as a memento.
ReplyDeletePromise not to laugh. When I saw the first photo, the first thing that jumped into my head was Howdy Doody. Go figure. I suppose I thought I saw freckles. Of course the angel isn't Howdy Doody -- much nicer and as always your close in photos are great.
ReplyDeleteWhat a sweet little angel. Happy New Year! :)
ReplyDeleteIt's such a lovely little angel!
ReplyDeleteVery beautiful gift! I can imagine how small it is in life-size, your photos are great macro shots!
ReplyDeleteHave a nice week, ciao! :-)
I'm back.
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year again.
Regina
They are very cute, I have a few of them too, but I take them out only in Christmas time.
ReplyDeleteHi there - I just discovered your blog. How lovely! I look forward to coming back again. Happy New Year!
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful little angel Lisa, wonderful work!
ReplyDeleteHi Lisa - thanks for opportunity, my macro monday is up : http://tobethinkingaloud.blogspot.com/2010/01/indigenous-lily-macro-monday.html

ReplyDeleteLovely angels - great detail. thanks for the opportunity. My post is up http://tobethinkingaloud.blogspot.com/
Lovely angel! Great pictures!
ReplyDeleteWhat an adorable little face, great macros.
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year!
ROFL!! GREAT MINDS think alike!! My macro Monday is about the ornament YOU sent ME! LOL!! What are the odds eh? Or, maybe you've been reading my mind!
ReplyDeleteI've never seen that angel look so good. I just know she's happy with you!!
Lovely shot!
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful angel. You leave me in awe. Every time.
ReplyDeleteGood that you have an angel living and watching over you. :)
ReplyDeleteHow will I find the Christmas swaping?
ReplyDeleteMB
Maybe will have time to do the marco today.
Oh, she's very beautiful! I too received a very beautiful ornament... I know the holidays are over, but I still haven't made my post about it - I need to get myself in gear! LOL
ReplyDeletea rather sultry face for an angel ---- ha.
ReplyDeleteBeautifully carved angel!
ReplyDeleteVery cool angel! Love the angles on it and how the white background makes it look like a cutout in that first shot.
ReplyDeleteVery nice close ups! Makes me wish I had a real camera that could have different lens. ;)
ReplyDeleteWhat an angelic shot! (Sorry, couldn't resist.)
ReplyDeleteI like the details that came out in this macro. The "creation" dust that clings to the painted and fired angel is something likely overlooked by the naked eye, but seems somehow symbolic under the scrutiny of the camera.
I just saw your lovely gift to Jientje on her blog... and now this beautiful angel. I really love great blogging friendships like this. Wonderful!
ReplyDeleteI am so excited about my first photography event and it's macro which is my favorite. I hope you don't mind but most of my photos are of food in one shape or another.
ReplyDeleteMichelle
Angels have pimples!
ReplyDeleteWho knew?
;)
