I found these pieces of dollars in the pocket of a pair of my jeans - I dunno why they were there. At first I thought it was two pieces of one dollar - but check out the serial. . .
A note taped to the side of a building in Heritage Park, the item you can barely see on the ground next to the building are antique farm equipment.
'Please move your canons to somewhere they don't startle and frighten the elderly near here. . .'
We frequent our Starbucks so often. . .well, I think we help keep them open. lol. But we love our baristas and evidently they love us too. Heidi made this card for Dennis when he was having the heart issues, and several of them signed it. :)
See, there we are in our Newdae car and they're all squished in the window to chat with us. lol
Khris brought Dennis a colorful balloon for his birthday in August and I had to play with it - and the fisheye, although the fisheye is not so fishy when put on a cropped sensor.
Just try getting a shot of the sky from your street with a fisheye without getting some trees - it catches a 180 degree angle.
We've had some beautiful sky lately!
Lisa,
ReplyDeleteI love these photos...especially the one(s) from Starbucks. What a wonderfully personal note from someplace you must visit often. And it shows real caring...
Well, you don't want to frighten the elderly!
ReplyDeleteLove your fisheye of the sky! That is a beautiful sky!
ReplyDeleteWow, you must be famous to have starbucks employees know you so well. ;)
ReplyDeleteStarbucks picture is the sweetest thing. That was a nice gesture from them. Lovin' those fisheye pics too. Hope all is well. Have a great day.
ReplyDeleteThat card was so sweet. A testament to you and Dennis that the Starbucks crew thought enough about you to make him a card. One of our neighbor high schools girls works at ours and always know what to make. I love small towns.
ReplyDeleteI like them all. Notes of interest.
ReplyDeleteOh, wow. I like this pot luck supper of great photos. I am feeling well-fed. Your fish-eye lens creates the illusion of heart-shaped clouds somehow. Delightful!
ReplyDeleteI never considered that a fisheye wouldn't be so fishy when not on a full-frame body, but it makes perfect sense. Nice effect!
ReplyDeleteThis post made me smile!! Have a great week Lisa!!
ReplyDeleteI really love all of them!!! And gotta love that Barista love!
