When I go on my bike rides I always take my tiny camera along, but I typically don’t see anything to photograph. I got lucky on this outing and found some wildflowers blooming - I forget what they’re called but if memory serves I think the bloom only lasts a day.
The sun seemed a little bright on that yellow, so I used my shadow to shade the sunny flower, moved a little closer and discovered two critters on the petals. Great ride, indeed!
Early Monday I'll be getting the CT scan to make sure I'm still in remission. Good vibes are appreciated. :0)
Macro Monday is easy to play, snap a macro (or any close-up) photo, post it on your blog and come back here and sign Mr Linky. Don't forget to visit each other. :)

I LOVE going on bike rides! My husband and I are doing a 100 mile (century) ride this Saturday. What kind of camera do you have? I need to find something good that I can take on rides.
ReplyDeleteGood vibes -- fingers and toes crossed for you.
ReplyDeleteI like the yellow flowers. They remind me of dandelions. You proved that nothing is too humble to photograph. Nice shots. I was crawling around my yard on Friday photographing hostas and I think I got lucky. The big bees go all the way in to the flowers. While I was set up with my tripod I noticed a bee nearby and it went in to the flower I was focused on. I shot a couple. Hope I got something.
Ya never know what you'll find. I usually take a small digicam with me when I ride my bike, but the past few times, I packed my F3 along instead. I stopped and used the seat for a tripod today. No way I'm lugging my heavy tripod along.
Be well,
John
so detailed! good job
ReplyDeleteBeautiful flower - and what luck, two bees in one photo! :)
ReplyDeleteThey must be related to dandellions, they're quite similar, but I don't know what they're called either. It's nice to go on a bike ride or a walk and take the camera along, I do that too. Amazing what you see sometimes eh?
ReplyDeleteI love my tiny camera, it's the only one I use! :)
