Slickery Macro Monday



Found on one of our walks at Standing Rocks Park, gotta tell you it's easy to slide around on damp oak leaves.

    Beaded water on leaves is one of my favorite things!
    This spring we were in Jay Cooke State Park a couple of times, rocky there, and I found the same thing - very easy to slip on the slippery leaf matter!

    I love oak leaves and this one is special with a light pinkish/purple hue to it. The water droplets certainly enhance the leaf and of course add to a slippery walk.

    Rocks plus slippery leaves is a dangerous combination. You got a fantastic photo, though. I don't think I've ever seen one in that lovely shade of lavender.
