Well life has been so busy lately that I haven't been able to spend time with my macro lens, hoping to change that soon, so I hope you don't mind that I'm sharing a couple of photos my husband took while we were in Missouri last weekend.
This was the first time ever that we've been able to get all five generations together. We started with grandma at the top, then my mom, then me, next my daughter and the tiny one is my granddaughter.
Macro Monday is easy to play, snap a macro (or any close-up) photo, post it on your blog and come back here and sign MckLinky. :) MM started on Sept 29, 2008 - THANX to all of you for helping make it such a fun start to the week!
This one didn't turn out quite like we thought it would but still, Adrianna is holding a dogwood stem, then her mama, me, then my mom, then grandma - going round and round like a rose, lol.
Oh Lisa, this is precious!

ReplyDeleteFive generations, how wonderful. This doesn't happen very often and you have some great photos to remember the occasion. Your first is my favourite.

ReplyDeleteThat five generations picture is wonderful. I'm sitting here trying to figure out what I can say that would express my emotions, and I guess there are no such words.
ReplyDeleteMy dad just passed away in December after living with us for two years, and value and power of those family relationships is amazing. I'm glad that you all are able to get together and spend time with each other.
Love your generation concept. My Mother recently visited from California and we shot a four generation photo, wish I had seen this before that I would have done something similar. Thanks for a great concept, have a great week.

ReplyDeleteA lovely idea and impressive that you are five generations. :)
ReplyDeleteLove this shot. Received a similar shot of five generations form a friend of mine by e-mail a few weeks ago. I would love to do something similar but but four generations is all I have and we have not all been together in ages. Will have to work on making that happen.
