  1. Neat stuff Lisa. I think I like the second shot best. You need to look real close to see the spider webs. I wonder if the fungus had anything to do with the deformations of the tree trunk?

Hey, I'm the first linky today. I started my post yesterday and then decided to rework the entire thing this evening. Same starting image though.

  2. I love the fungus photos! The first is my favourite because I love the shapes, and the way the clumps hang on the tree trunk, almost like the suggestion of a spiral.

  3. That's some sexy looking fungus, very curvy!
Margie and I posted together today, we were talking about simple things and decided to post some macros of our favourite make up bag items!
Happy Monday Lisa - and I'm mailing my ornament tomorrow, I promise! I posted about it in Sunday's post. Now I just need to put it in the post! (haha I'm very punny, I know!)

  4. This almost looks like a stairway in an ultramodern condo or something. Except that I'm sure building codes would require a railing of some kind. Lucky for us, nature has no building codes. Very cool!

  8. one of these days I'm going to play. I often see things or have photos that 'might' qualify. Just not quite the quality of yours.

This photo reminds me of one of my moms favorite sayings: There's a fungus amongus...
    forwhatever reason.. ha ha

  9. That fungus almost looks like oyster mushrooms. I wonder if it could be edible? Quite beautiful, certainly.

  10. The spider doesn't like me, I can't see his or her net. But the fungus is beautiful. I am on holidays in Egypt and the screen of my little notebook is very small and Internet has moods like a menopaused woman.

  11. I love that second shot! That must have been hard to catch such a delicate web.

To think I ate fungus tonight. That still won't keep me from eating mushrooms.
