It's a love/hate relationship. All summer long they drive me crazy, chipmunks everywhere, into everything, chirping and just generally being pests. But by this time of year, they have calmed down, they're quiet and generally only seen stealing my birdseed, lol. This guy thinks he's hidden.
AWE! I could take photos of chipmunks all day. These are great photos.
ReplyDeleteI love them! It's one of the few things I really miss living in Florida.
ReplyDeleteHow could you ever hate something so cute! Great photos!
ReplyDeleteBrilliant captures! I love them :D
ReplyDeleteYou've taken some nice clear shots here, well done. My parents have a love/hate relationship with squirrels - they are so cute but at the same time can be very destructive!
ReplyDeleteWe have a group of those little pesky critters that live under our front porch - and they're all too quick to photograph.
ReplyDeleteExcellent capture - they are the quickest little things I've ever seen! So fast that until this post I wasn't really sure exactly what they look like ;-)
ReplyDeleteThe two mice I had living in my shed, Lucille & Ethel, were a little more adorable, but these pass.
ReplyDeleteObviously hiding in plain sight. hee hee He's quite cute, isn't he? Great photos!!

ReplyDeleteWow! I especially like the firs picture, so great capture! Thanks for visiting my blog!
ReplyDeleteyou always have such beautiful capture of nature's creatures.
ReplyDeleteI've never had one sit still for a portrait, but I love watching them. Great photos!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful portrait of this little guy! It's hard to believe he could be a pest...
ReplyDeleteAw! so beautiful!
ReplyDeleteWe saw his cousin today when we were out for a walk. Playing the same game. These little guys are precious.
ReplyDeleteWe have a bunch of these living around my place and they've always bee too quick for me. And they drive Tonka to distraction! Nice shooting to get one so still.
ReplyDeleteI have to agree, they are the cutest ever and provide so much entertainment, BUT not so when they crawl in through the exhaust hose on my dryer, and get electrocuted.
ReplyDeleteB.
I think the squirrels have chased all those little guys away from my neighborhood. I never see chipmunks.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great wildlife feeling... nice colors and a beautiful capture of such a difficult animal... Just great!
ReplyDeleteOh what a SWEET shot! Love it!
ReplyDeletelove these shots, nice catch.
ReplyDeleteHe looks really sneaky in these shots! Oh well, they have to get a good stock for winter, so maybe we'll just let him steal a few more seeds. After all, they're gracious photo "models" :)
ReplyDeleteI know they might be annoying if you have a lot of them but I think they are so cute!!
