OMG! This looks just like the barn kitty that was about 3 years old when I met my ex-husband and it died about 10 years later. There was never a mouse around the house until after she died.
Awww, great shots Lisa. This kitty reminds me of my sweet old stray kitty, she's been around on and off since the boys were little, must be at least 12 years old now - we call her our big old beat up worn out kitty. She's the roughest, toughest cat I've ever seen. She has only half of one ear, half of her tail and a big snaggel tooth that makes her look like she's always got a snarling grin on her face. Poor old thing. Have a great weekend Lisa :-)
Beautiful older kitty ... outside cats DO have a harder life than indoor cats don't they. This one reminds me of a cat from my childhood ;-) Hugs and blessings,
He is beautiful is what he is... I just LOVE cats. Cats are amazing survivors...sometimes warriors, sometimes just cuddle-cakes too. ;o) This fella looks like he's had a rough time...but still going... Happy Weekend to you & yours, Lisa!
Look how one pupil is fully open and the pupil of the other eye is a slit. I wonder, since he is old, if there are sight issues with his eyes... You just never know.
I have a 17 yr. old barn kitty, Maggie. In her hay-day she was really something to be feared. The birds all flew and hid. Now she just watches them, probably dreaming of a good meal. LOL B.
What unusual brown eyes. I don't think I've ever seen any that shade before, discounting the cataract in his right eye. Those are really great pictures.
he looks like he's blind in one eye. yeah, he looks tough.

ReplyDeleteHe looks like a tough cat, but I have to say street cats are even rougher! They have no fear, and they use their nine lives over and over again :-(
ReplyDeleteHe is a handsome fella. Looking great for his age.
ReplyDeleteLooks pretty annoyed too! But as always, you've captured him wonderfully.

He's a pretty one. My aunt used to have barn cats and they were seriously tough. Could make a pit bull look like a kitten LOL
ReplyDeletei always think its such a natural life for them sandy
ReplyDeleteGood genes in that pool. He's reached a venerable age for a cat that has to live by his wits.
ReplyDeleteHe's a gorgeous old guy. I didn't realize barn cats lived that long - they must not live too close to the road. Either that or he's really smart!

ReplyDeleteSomething wrong with it's eye? cats are survivor, somehow they'll adept to situations and live.

ReplyDeleteWhat an handsome fellow he is! He does look very good for being 13 or 14. What a strong kitty he must be.
ReplyDeleteWhoa, he does look tough - I wouldn't want to run into him in a dark alley!
