Yes, the ground is now white in my neck of the woods and will remain so for many months, but I just discovered a folder of photos I never got around to sharing so I will be throwing some from warmer days in for a while.
So, there I was waiting for the boat to come to shore and take me out and I thought the sky was really pretty.
It didn't take long for the sun to start setting. These two photos were taken 13 minutes apart. Amazing!
And 9 minutes later it was still beautiful! It was chilly out there, but I imagine now that lake is frozen, and unboatable. So here's to remembering warmer days and reminding myself they will come again.
Beautiful. I don't see the sun set now since it happens while I'm still at work. Thanks for the reminder of summer!
ReplyDeleteJust 13 minutes and what a world of difference it has made. Fantastic shots, Lisa! Beautifully captured.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous. Sunsets were the reason I started taking pictures in the first place.

ReplyDeleteNice shots...I can just imagine being there...
ReplyDeleteLovely! And will the warm days really come again? Really?? I saw a news report where a whole team of people got together to "de-snow" the Green Bay Packers' stadium. So I figured that yes, snow must have come to Wisconsin!
ReplyDeleteHint hint...I bet that you could take some gorgeous "snowscape" pictures. For those of us who just have sleet, cold and biting wind, but no pretty snow to make up for it, it would be a lovely distraction!
Such a beautiful sunset! Great captures!
ReplyDeleteWe've only had flurries bit it's FREEZING! The air just takes your breath away looking out the window!

ReplyDeleteThese are wonderful. I am glad you found that folder! Those sunsets are gorgeous.
It's good to have such reminders when winter surrounds you. These were marvelous ... I love the angled perspective on the sunsets and want to remember to try that sometime.
