One more bird ornament.
Is it wrong they use feathers to make the tails on bird ornaments? I guess it's recycling, right?
A lovely little present under the tree.
I'm sorry, I haven't been ignoring the questions about her name, I've just been playing catch up after having Twister for a few days and trying to finish the last minute Christmas things, and. . . well you get the idea. Hectic! Chaotic! I miss the little guy since he's went home though.
And ok, well, maybe I've been playing with hubby's Christmas present a bit. He got the Guitar Hero World Tour for the Wii, so usually it's him on the drums, Haden on the guitar and me on vocals. I don't think I'll ever get the stinking guitar down.
Adrianna Aurora Lilly
Twister and Addy have two middle names, just like two of Britney's brothers. The 'Aurora' is dawn in Latin, I think Brit said, and Britney's middle name is Dawn. Adrianna is pronounced A-dree-ah-nuh, but I plan on calling her Addy - although her first few days of life she blew a lot of bubbles (the doctor said she probably swallowed some amniotic fluid) and I thought about calling her Bubbles. ;)
These photos were taken Sunday. It's pretty cool, yesterday a nurse stopped by to do a check up on her - how neat that they come to you, but she's lost enough weight (She's down to 6 lbs 11 oz - she started at 7 lbs 8 oz) that they want her to come to the office today to get rechecked.
That baby's name is pure music! How very beautiful. God bless her. And you and your family this Christmas.
ReplyDeleteWhen the family cuts its first music CD, I'll be first in line to buy a copy!
Now that's what I call a Christmas present! What a beautiful baby. Blessings to her...and to all your family. And by the way, I think Addy is a terrific nickname. I so wish it were mine :-) Actually, I'd settle for any two syllable name, but Addy makes the top ten...
ReplyDeleteWithin 3 months were expecting a second grandchild too. We can hardly wait to see our new wonder. Congratulations with the lovely granddaughter! Merry Christmas to you all.
ReplyDeleteSuch a pretty little baby! Makes my internal clock start ticking....
ReplyDeleteHope you have a wonderful day Lisa and kick some butt on the Guitar Hero!
She is perfect! My daughter did the same thing. It was because I was breastfeeding and my milk had not come in yet. Once it did, she gained 1 lb in 24 hours and never looked back! Keep us updated!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous baby - gorgeous name! I especially love that last picture. Perfect.
ReplyDeleteFeathers on bird ornaments make sense... after all, they just shed them - you don't have to kill the bird to get the feathers (now THAT would be totally ironic).
she is a beautiful baby! Merry Christmas!
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful name for such a beautiful lil girl!!! Makes me want to try for the girl I never had. Good thing he is fixed!
ReplyDeleteI can't figure out the guitar on guitar hero either!!! You are not alone!
