Shhhhhhh, let’s sneak up on him.
So far, so good. He looks like he’s smiling! Silly little poser.
‘Cheese’
What do you think he’s thinking?
If you want to join the Macro Monday Meme please jump on in. Let me know in comments and I’ll hook you up. It's easy to play, snap a macro (or close-up) photo of anything you choose, post it on your blog and come back here and let me know you're playing. Words, no words, your call.
BTW, You don't have to have a macro lens to show us something close up, for example, the Queen Anne's Lace yesterday were not taken with a macro lens. Come on, try something new. :)

Wow!! Double WOW!!! These are wonderful captures...I am so impressed with the detail and precision of the photos! Great Post!
ReplyDeletenow that is one cool dragonfly!!! never seen an orange one. absolutely wonderful shot!!
ReplyDeleteI love their little smiles! I remember how tickled I was the first time I saw one. I might have to join in on this meme...perhaps next week.
ReplyDeleteI love dragonflies! I have never seen an orange one though, great pictures.
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for stopping by my blog. Your photos are fantastic! I tried to look your dragon up in my reference book, but couldn't find it--probably because my reference book is titled Common Dragonflies of the Southwest. Not much help for Wisconsin unless it's a dragon with a wide range. Sorry I couldn't help! :-(
ReplyDeleteWow! Awesome as always! (You should make a book of these photos!)
ReplyDeleteWell done, Lisa. This is one good looking fellow. Your portraits do him more than justice!
ReplyDeleteI love your macros....these reminded me of a disney/pixar movie, I think it was the huge eyes and the smile!!
ReplyDeleteI wished I would come to the same result ! I think I have to wait until Christmas then I get a new camera (a little voice whispered it in my ear) I have never looked so deeply in the green eyes of a little monster !
ReplyDeleteLove these shots, I took a few shots of a dragonfly just a few days ago, but I'm gonna save that for another entry.
ReplyDeleteThis week I'm sharing a shot of a grasshopper.
You're the queen of macro shot, undeniably so!!! That guy is smiling, he's honoured to be on your blog!!
ReplyDeleteMy humble post isup now too!! See you!
AMAZING! He is thinking "I may have a cute smile but wait till I show you my fangs! He he! I am going to suck your blood!" Sorry I could not help myself, he is too cute for words.
ReplyDeleteAll I can say is "wow". Your macro shots always blow me away!
ReplyDeleteOnce again, I bow to your amazing ability to make a rather ugly bug actually look cute and adorable! (I bear no ill will towards the humble dragonfly, but at the same time, they've always kind of given me the creeps and I don't usually want them very close to me.) Anyway! Fabulous pics!
ReplyDeleteHow do you get so close?:-)
ReplyDeleteWhat great shots of the dragonfly! I love dragonflies. They are beautiful.
ReplyDeleteBlessings from Costa Rica
