I'd use all the chalk. I color with my girls everyday out on our patio with sidewalk chalk. They get a big kick out of being able to draw on everything, and I'm happy that it washes off. Mainly what we draw: they lay on the ground and I trace their bodies. It's sorts funny when we are done. It looks like a crime scene. Perhaps I'll get some yellow tape and tape off our art for a WW in the upcoming weeks!!!
Oh, how lovely! May I have the blue, please? In these days of worry and weariness, your photos are a wonderful reminder of carefree times. Hopscotch, anyone? Thanks Lisa!
I'd use all the colors and draw a photo of my family on the driveway (my kids love to do that) under a big sun with birds flying in the sky. Perhaps a tree off to one side would be nice too. (Can you tell it's cloudy and rainy here today?)
I'm a terrible color hog. I love all of them! I always draw flying fish and undersea gardens and then watch people try not to step on them on the sidewalk. I know...I have no life. I also paint rocks and leave them near my mail box which I can see from my office window. I love watching people check them out and then walk away with them. It's interesting to me that more adults 'steal' them than kids. What color did you pick? What did you draw?
I'm with AFF on this one ... PURPLE Hopscotch appeals to me! I haven't played for years, but used to be very good at Hopscotch and Jacks! Hugs and blessings,
Hard time to visit all my favs. Love the gulls - of course - but the pink flower? Wow - that cute little feathery thing coming out? Way cool! And so much fun with the crayons. Cheers, Klaus
Oh I love the pictures! Sadly I wouldn't be able to help draw.... Chalk makes my hands itch so bad. But if someone draws it, I would love to join some of you who mentioned hopscotch!
There's something about chalk that touches my primal core...a genetic memory of man's first drawing with stones? More likely my memory of childhood blackboards in school and drawing on sidewalks with it afterwards.
I like the purple one. Nowdays schools are using marker & whiteboard.
ReplyDeleteI really missed those days using the chalk :)
