I'm not sure if he's a worm or a caterpillar but he sure is uniformly green.
He's kinda chubby too, lol.
He reminds me of one of those sticky gelly creatures kids get out of coin machines.
Macro Monday is easy to play, snap a macro (or any close-up) photo, post it on your blog and come back here and sign MckLinky. :) MM started on Sept 29, 2008 - Thanx to all of you for helping make it such a fun start to the week!
Great macros, Lisa, but eww..
ReplyDeleteYummy, a gummy bear caterpillar. :-) It probably won't get much nutrition out of the knit thing it's on.
ReplyDeleteThat's a chubby one alright, lol..Great shots!
ReplyDeleteYikes! I like the knitted sweater it is on way better than the actual subject ...
ReplyDeleteHe's so cool!!! He reminds me of the rubber worms I use when fishing.
ReplyDeleteIs he eating your sweater?! Great photos, Lisa.
ReplyDeleteYup. I reckon Jan is right: looks like a clothes moth larva to me.
ReplyDeleteNo wonder he's green.
Show us the hole next time :-)
That's one fat caterpillar!
ReplyDeleteChubby and kind of cute! :)
ReplyDeleteGreat pics! I want to describe this little guy as 'juicy' but that word reminds me too much of food. Hmm...juicy like a water balloon, not juicy like a peach. :)
ReplyDeleteGreat macro though he is a bit too gooey for my taste :)
ReplyDeleteWowee, super macro shot Lisa.
ReplyDeleteHave a nice week, Ev
Oh my, it is chubby! Wondrous little one.
ReplyDeleteAmazing captures Lisa.
Have a great new week.
xo
Chubby and green....and kinda EW!! LOL Those are really great macros, Lisa!!
ReplyDeleteYou really take great macros Lisa! Super!
ReplyDeleteHi Lisa
ReplyDeletefabulous macro shot, he does look like one of those things you throw at the wall and he rolls down it, sue,x
You are right. He does look sort of like a gummy bear only green. Cool! Hope he doesn't chew on the sweater.
ReplyDeleteYour macros are great but it is not the broach I want for my sweater.
ReplyDeleteThat's definitely a caterpillar! I see them eating some of the plants in our garden which puts everyone in panic mode! Yeah, ours is fat too, er, excuse me, kindda chubby. But they should be because I saw them eating a huge leaf ten times their size in 10 minutes!
ReplyDeleteLooks like one touch and he would burst!
ReplyDeleteI would have said a fruit worm maybe but it looks like he prefers knitting. :)
Great shots!
Ewww, I love the color and the texture of whatever it was he was sitting on. Was it your sweater? Ewww!
ReplyDeletestunning colours and great macro. By the way i so love macro monday!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful macros of the little caterpillar. :)

This is really a little nice fat one. Gorgeous shots!
ReplyDeletea chubby little fellow, hope it's not because of the sweater....
ReplyDeletecould not find any Mr Linky here today.... but I've posted on my blog anyway :-)
Macro shows us what the eye does not, at least at first sight :-)

ReplyDeleteEwwww, ewwww, ewwww....but also FANTASTIC!!! I can't believe the detail in that little fella!
ReplyDeletehow do you get so close to it?
ReplyDeleteHe's kind of cute!
ReplyDeleteI agree that the Macro shot is wonderful, but that beast is ugly and disgusting ! yikes !
ReplyDeleteGreat Photo and lovely Macro!
ReplyDeleteCool macros but caterpillars make me squeal-- too many traumatic caterpillar incidents as a child!
ReplyDeleteARRRRRGGGHHHHHHHH!!! Scary looking!
ReplyDeleteHe's in style. He's the same color that my granddaughters got their nails painted today. Does he glow in the dark too?
ReplyDeleteGreat photos. Thanks for hosting Mosaic Monday.
Could he still be in the larvae stage? Love these captures!
ReplyDeleteOh my Gud .. the little one is not nice.. but very great macros:)
ReplyDeleteLooks like a caterpillar balloon that's been filled with too much air!
ReplyDeleteWhat a chubby little guy! Must be eating well! It would be fun to see what he turns into when he gets his wings.
Wow, I'm totally loving that first shot. The green colors go nicely together, but I also like the differences in textures that come through in your macro shot. Really cool.
ReplyDeleteI am loving all the macro photos, so many fantastic shots :)
ReplyDeleteYou really nailed the details on this little guy!
ReplyDeleteHe looks like Heimlich from the cartoon movie Bug's Life!
