Do you have any idea how hard it is to focus on a tiny little mosquito? I thought I would go crazy trying to pose his body and focus, lol. Oh, yeah, btw, I clapped him out of the air before he bit me so uh, he's not going anywhere.
I hate mosquitos! They leave huge whelps on me every time they bite. But I was pretty intrigued by them as I looked through my lens. I had no idea they had compound eyes.
Another one bites the dust! Yay!
Macro Monday is easy to play, snap a macro (or any close-up) photo, post it on your blog and come back here and sign MckLinky. :) MM started on Sept 29, 2008 - Thanx to all of you for helping make it such a fun start to the week!

ReplyDeleteI'll admit that the wing is very pretty.

I admit that your mosquito picture is of first quality, but still it is an ugly beast and when I think of all the itching stitches I suffered from in the past I prefer cat whiskers !
