vacation
There were a lot of things I thought I would miss out on when I was diagnosed, one of those things was vacations. There were still many places I wanted to see in the world and I thought I would never get to. When chemo was finished it took a while to gain strength, so I still didn't travel for at least a year. But, today, I leave on a journey to Glacier National Park! Yippee! I feel strong enough to hike again and am looking forward to it. While I loaded up the van this Monarch kept me company, and by his swirls and loops it looked like he was celebrating with me.

Thanx to the Monarch I was able to get one more post in before we left. Ok, see you on the flip side! :)

ReplyDeleteFirst, great monarch shot. Hope you have a great trip to Glacier. It's terrific and has the most poetic name for a road I know of, the Going to the Sun Highway. May your trip see fair weather.

ReplyDeleteI love your photos and I love your project. I'm so happy you get to go on vacation. My husband and I have been talking about FINALLY going on our honeymoon once I finish treatment - but since we're both college students living off student loans it might be a long time after treatment before we're able to do that.
ReplyDeleteHave a super vacation and I can't wait to see the pics. Glacier National Park is definitely somewhere I want to visit.
ReplyDeleteAnd the Monarch is beautiful too! :)
