Sometimes you have to shout to be heard. Speak up, speak loud! Don't give up, eventually you will be heard, it will be worth it.

We hiked a mile, nearly straight up, I think it was about 700' up, the side of a mountain to see a waterfall. But after viewing the waterfall, only viewable via the hike, we discovered the Pika, a little fellow who may be on the endangered species list now. Most of them live on rocky mountainsides in crevices. I SO wanted to take him home with me! He was an adorable rock rabbit! Then I realized the photos he let me take of him, well I did bring him home. :)

ReplyDeleteIs this a rock hyrax? I saw those while I was in Tanzania a few summers ago. They are such interesting creatures! Great capture. I love his expression! We were told that rock hyraxes are related to elephants! Can you believe that?
