I really liked how this little ground squirrel posed for me. :) If I were to edit this photo I would just lower the green saturation a bit so it would distract less.
Hiya lisa, Is that what I know as a chipmunk? We don't have those over here, more's the pity. I loved them. Funny you should say that about saturation alteration. I just today for started playing about with colours in PSP.
What a wonderful squirrel and what geometric pattern on his fur. We don't have any of those in Sweden but i sure would like some :-) Great SOOC-shot and I agree with what you thought about editing
Oh, I love it just as it is! It's his natural setting, isn't it? And I don't think the green is too distracting. I took a picture of one of these little guys at the Grand Canyon and I have to say, the background of various rock colours didn't do anything for the contrast at all. I like yours better!
Actually, I think it's not only adorable and bright eyed----I think the contrast of the sharp, green blades of grass is perfect for the little fluffy fur ball!!
So cute!!! Unfortunately we don't have them here in the Netherlands. We do have red tree-squirrels, but those are hard to catch on photo. They are really shy. This pic is adorable and a good shot indeed! Thanks for sharing! xx Monica

Wonderful shot! I love how he's posed for you :)
ReplyDeleteSquirrels are so fun and so brave. Last time we went camping, one came up on our table when our backs were turned and ate out of my cereal bowl.
ReplyDeleteProcessing, I'd add just a touch of selective sharpening around the eye, portrait like.
this little guy is sooo adorable. great capture. hope things are going well. have a wonderful day.
ReplyDeleteWhat a cute little critter, and how realistic! I love the details in it's fur!
