I am really trying to soak up all the joy in flowers before the snow starts to fly again, and trust me it will seem way too soon for that blanket of white.
With all the rain we've had this summer, if it were colder we would be buried, lol.
Next week, Monday August 23, will be the 100th Macro Monday post and I thought it might be fun to see if we could get 100 objects in the post. Granted they would have to be small objects to still be close but I'll be giving it a shot and thought you might want to too. If you prefer not to, that's ok. :0)
Update: There's been some question about the 100 thing, I wasn't thinking 100 images, I was thinking 100 objects in one photo. Make sense? 100 photos might be a wee bit overwhelming, lol.
Macro Monday is easy to play, snap a macro (or any close-up) photo, post it on your blog and come back here and sign Mr Linky. MM started on Sept 29, 2008 - Thanx to all of you for helping make it such a fun start to the week! :)
Don't know what to do when all the flowers are dying out :-) Your photos are gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteI love water drops on the flower! Beautiful macros..
ReplyDeleteI love the water drops on the flower too. Would be nice to see 100 or more objects next week. Happy Monday!
ReplyDeleteSunflower
Oh I love those drops of water. 100 objects in a post... a challenge...
ReplyDeleteIt is way too early to be thinking about snow or cold. More flowers!!!
ReplyDeleteAnd I look forward to the 100 things!
Love the flowers. I have an idea for 100 objects, we'll see how it pans out! Good challenge.
ReplyDeleteBTW, I've done 54 of 99! not too bad.
Lisa!!! You said the "S" word - take it back -- hee hee.
ReplyDeleteWe would love some rain ... it's been a dry summer.
Happy Monday!
Two colourful macro shots and do love the water drops!
ReplyDeleteI can't imagine producing 100 objects in one post - perhaps a
visit to a farmer's market would solve that problem....
OH!!! The wonderful shade of orange and yellow!!! Will probably pass on the 100 as next weekend we'll be our of town but will look forward to seeing what develops...Bad pun?
ReplyDeleteDelicious photos Lisa!!!
ReplyDeleteExcellent macro of the lily stamens!
ReplyDeleteWater drops on flowers = love them and this!
100 objects - oh my, I'll think on that one. :)
Beautiful as always...and 100 objects...that's ambitious. I'm doing good to get one. My shot will be loaded at 9 am tomorrow. If you see it and I'm not linked up, would you mind grabbing it for me? I'll be in training but will try to link up the moment I have a chance.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous macro shots of these beautiful flowers!
ReplyDeleteIt always lovely to see water droplets on flowers it looks so refreshing, and always a nice photo subject!
ReplyDeleteAbout 100 objects, do you mean 100 objects in one photo?
I love that water droplet shot, so awesome! Come to Singapore when the snow fall , Lisa. We have flower blooming all year long, so you can have your fill.

ReplyDeleteI don't want to think about snow yet.
We haven't had ANY rain!! They keep saying we are going to get rain...but it just misses us somehow!!
These are so beautiful & perfect shooting...
ReplyDeleteWe had a hot weekend and snow actually sounds good right now. I know that in December, I'll miss the heat, but right now.... Great flower closeups.
ReplyDeleteThose are absolutely lovely shots!!! I especially like the water drops on the partial flower. Very creative. Thanks for sharing and inspiring!!
ReplyDeleteYour flowers are so beautiful!! I hate the thought of the cold coming again. I just asked hubby what I'd photograph when all the flowers were gone. LOL
ReplyDeleteMy daughter submitted our MM this week!!
Lovely focus on those stamens and beautiful depth of field.
ReplyDeleteWOW, how time flies.
ReplyDeleteI still remember the very beginnings of macro Monday :D
Amazing :)

I think my last comment just ended up in your spam folder?
ReplyDeleteHi Lisa
ReplyDeleteI love those water droplets on the oesto and the colour of its petals too along with the soft centre from the daylily - reminds me of a box of chocolates and its soft centres - always my favourites. Well thats quite a challenge for next Monday - I think I could do it............. better get counting those images in my folders. Hope you are well these days :) Rosie
Beautiful flower macros, I love raindrops on flower.
ReplyDeleteRaindrops look lovely on flowers, but not on me ! Here in England where I am for a week it also rains at least once per day ! Apparently in Belgium it's not better. What about making a macro shot of flippers which will grow on us soon ?
ReplyDeleteGoodmorning,
ReplyDeleteI wish you had't mentioned snow :-)
Next week's 100 will be fun.
What an achievement!
I LOVE the reflection in the droplet of that second photo. Another perfect macro by Lisa!
ReplyDeleteThese are beautiful - water droplets on petals make the flowers look even prettier.
ReplyDeleteHow funny! I doubted between the photo I did upload to MM and another one, which happened to be of the same kind of flower as your first photo :) Such a coincidence!
ReplyDeleteYour photos rock, like always! You're so good at this :)
Thanks for the inspiration and for getting me off my lazy ass LOL :D
xx Monica
PS: last night felt like fall already :( I so wished summer would stay around a little longer, but today again a grey and rainy day.

ReplyDeleteLoving your shots as usual!! Not loving the thought of snow - nope - not ready for snow .... at all!
that shot with water drops is so lovely, I hope I can find 100 things for next week:)
ReplyDeleteRain has been in short supply here this summer, which I wouldn't mind if the humidity was an indicator of that. But it's been evil. So has the heat. You're not going to see much growing like this around here... not this year. Love these!
ReplyDeleteI love the water droplets on this photo --- nice work.
ReplyDeleteJust lovely, great colors :)
ReplyDeleteThese are very beautiful. I am with you--let's soak up summer all we can. It's hard to believe school is not two weeks away.
ReplyDeleteLove these flower macros ~ and the water drop shot is cool!!! Beautiful colors! :)
ReplyDeleteWe've had a lot of rain too lately. The humidity has been nasty but everyone praises the rain. I'd rather the sunshine and the dry heat myself. Pretty flowers, I'm loving those water droplets. :)
