Macro Monday Mini Crab

While sifting for shark's teeth we came upon several small crabs. I thought this one was pretty tiny, until I saw. . .

Now he's tiny! These were taken with my little waterproof point and shoot.

Can you tell he's no bigger than a penny? It's so funny to see something that small get all defensive, lol.

    That is truly macro.
    Sifting for sharks' teeth is totally outside my scope :-)

    Very cute little guy. It's kind of like a tiny dog that thinks it's as big as a mastiff. Posturing and confidence are everything. Nice photos, especially with a point and shoot

    it's amazing how small some creatures can be and survive for as long as they do in the wild. i guess they're equipped with what they need to stay alive. great captures.
