When a friend shared this YouTube video with me I just knew I must share it with my readers. If you have wondered if you should move a little closer to me I think this will help sway your decision. Even if you have no plans to move here, you might want to see it anyway. All photos were taken here, and although there's some exaggeration, it's pretty accurate, lol. Enjoy!
Hi Lisa,
ReplyDeleteThat was fun to watch!! I think it pretty much describes small-town Wisconsin in many ways (except that not all of small town Wisconsin has a college...).
Not to hurt your feelings Lisa, but I think I'll stay in Memphis a while longer. I'm going to work on my post for your blog today. Hope to send it tonight to you. Thanks for your patience.
ReplyDeleteI think it's a beautiful place, but I prefer how you picture it!
ReplyDeleteClever editing I think you could do that in many towns (I know I could here).
ReplyDeletemany of those shots could have been taken in our small town
ReplyDeleteI'm staying in Murrieta! But, thanks for sharing. Whenever we're in WS, we do marvel at the number of bars. It's really amazing.
ReplyDeleteSure is a purty place!
ReplyDeletePretty funny clip. I love the ending.
ReplyDeleteYou on the other hand sure do find amazing things to take pictures of in your area!
Hilarious, and at the same time depressing. Is that not so many fine cities in the state of WI? But what of kringle?
ReplyDeleteThere are a few places up here that are quite similar. The scenery is beautiful. I have to wonder about the sledding with the big rocks strategically placed at the bottom. It reminds me our one of the towns near us, Spruce Grove has a hill called Hamburger Hill, not much bigger than in the video, and the city thought it would look nice in summer with trees at the bottom, not considering the carnage with winter sledding.
ReplyDeleteThis is fun. The scenery is great! I hate malls anyway.
ReplyDeleteVery funny, but I think even Stevens Point has South Haven beat with commercial establishments. :)
ReplyDeleteJust where we want all our teens to go... At least my DH survived the town in the 70's.
