Macro Monday is easy to play, snap a macro (or any close-up) photo, post it on your blog and come back here and sign Mr Linky. Don't forget to visit each other. :)
If you can believe it, as a little girl I loved playing with cars!
Shhhh, don’t tell Tristan where his cars are.
Nice cars! looks like I wasn't the only one playing with the little kid's belonging! lol
ReplyDeleteOh, I'm going to tell. Cool pics. You should frame these for Tristan's room too! He would love them.
ReplyDeleteWell those are such fun photos!
ReplyDeleteAnd your ice cave photos are spectacular. Looks like an amazing place to be.
Jeez. I had a comment sitting here waiting to be submitted and lost it. The comment I mean. My mind too probably.
ReplyDeleteThese are cool... they take me back to my own youth and Matchbox cars. Then Hot Wheels came along and raised the bar. Matchbox, of course, answered the bell, but it was a two horse race after that.
You'd have liked the trip I took with Tonka yesterday. No macro shots, but lots of classic cars!
As a tom-boy who played cowboy&indian, soldier, and baseball this is nothing shocking to me!
ReplyDeleteLove the first picture and on purpose ! my second car when I was 23 was a VW ! so many souvenirs !
ReplyDeleteOw wow Lisa, I like those!! Poster quality pictures!
ReplyDeleteI've got news Lisa. I started a new blog to be able to publish bigger pictures.
From now on you can find me here:

Would you please please please adjust my link in your reader?
I would hate to loose you as a friend!
I lost the comment?
ReplyDeleteI said: Great pictures, they are poster quality, they should be sold to decorate boys rooms! Love the Beetle, sentimental reasons!

Great tiny cars...even if they look big! :-)
ReplyDeleteDear blogger friends!
Could you help me?
I wrote today on my main blog http://BLOGitse.blogspot.com about 'Error on page' when I try to comment.
This morning I wanted to comment Jientje's Macros but she has (or I have!) that 'Error on page' problem and I can not send comments to her. And I couldn't find her email address to let her know/visit my blog.
It's strange because I can see many other Blogger bloggers comments there. So, could this be only my problem?
By the way, it says here like this: 'Done, but with errors on page'
(but if I can send this then it should be ok, soon I'll see)
Can anybody help me??? thaaanks!
I like the care with the flames!
ReplyDeleteI loved playing with cars as well!!
ReplyDeleteGreat lictures :)

ReplyDeleteFANTASTIC subject for Macro Monday! Love these!!
ReplyDeleteMy blog browser isn't working and i missed some of your posts. The ice caves were awesome! I would love to see something like that!
ReplyDeleteNeat photos. I don't see why only boys would like to play with cars. ;-)
ReplyDeleteLove the details! Don't worry I wont squeal coz i do that a lot too lol....
ReplyDeletezoom zoom! I had a whole collection of matchbox cars.
ReplyDeleteHi Lisa,
ReplyDeleteNice cars! I used to play with my brothers cars a lot! Mine is posted. Have a great day!!

I love these macros. They hold the magic of those little cars.
ReplyDeleteI loved playing with cars, too. When I helped clean out my nephews' (youngest is now 19) room (they are slobs) I pocketed a few of the coolest ones and keep them on my bookshelf. I love the angle and focus of the Beetle.
ReplyDeleteLisa : You have done wonders with those toys. Exquisite use of DOF.
ReplyDeleteOK, I won't tell. Great pics.
ReplyDeleteI won't tell! Promised!
ReplyDeleteCheers, Klaus
I can honestly say that my preference was the Barbie Doll Camper... My brother's cars always somehow got into my camper... Fun shots!
ReplyDeleteI had two brothers........and I loved playing with cars!
ReplyDeleteVery cool images...
ReplyDeleteimpressive photos!! looked through your other entries and they're all excellent. great job on the macro cars.
ReplyDeleteCame via Kerri. Glad I did!
ReplyDeleteI love that little Volkswagen! Here's this week's attempt: http://ups-and-downs-with-anastasia.blogspot.com/2009/03/micro-monday_23.html
ReplyDeleteOh my Gosh! I love this! My son is completely into Matchbox and Hot Wheels cars and when my husband got out his old collection, it was amazing to see them share their mutual love. And I have to tell you, the "old time" cars are so much better than the ones today! Cooler designs and moving parts. Love this post.
ReplyDeleteMy brother and sister and I all loved playing with Matchbox cars when we were little -- we even had this huge room size rug that imitated a small town rather well, with roads and streets and areas that we perceived to be properties. The imagination of children! Love your pics, Lisa, always fun to see what you've got posted! :)
ReplyDeleteVery nice! I love the DOF on these!
ReplyDeleteCool hot rods. My mom is from WI and she loved playing with little cars too!
ReplyDeleteNorwood
I used to love cars too Lisa!! These are particularly nice pictures! I think they would look rather nice framed in Tristan's room!! Matchbox used to make some cool ones, but I haven't played with them in a very long time! Ha!
ReplyDeleteThose are way cool:D
ReplyDeleteLovely shots and great dof.
And no, I won't say a thing!
How fun!
ReplyDeleteAwesome pictures. I agree with the person who said they are poster quality. I'm going to have to try something similar while I still have my friend's macro lens.
ReplyDeleteI know I've probably asked this before, but what camera and lens did you use for these shots?
Oh, and did you use natural light?
ReplyDeletePssst - I loved playing with cars too! I had quite the Matchbox collection!
ReplyDeleteI wanna play Macro Monday!!! Yep, I think I should...
