Better than cream in your coffee

lc1261

Many moons ago, I waited tables for a few months in a bar and discovered that Tequila Rose in coffee is really good!  If you knew me, you would be amazed that I like this combination because I do not like the the taste of coffee, nor alcohol.

  1. Sounds like a hardy woman, "Tequila Rose." Worth a try on your recommendation!

  3. Not a coffee drinker either. Actually I am trying to drive just water right now. Part of trying to lose some weight. Normally I am a real tea drinker, made with Splenda.

I love my coffee but nearly gag at the thought of Tequila Rose!!
I do have a friend that would love the combo. I'll be sure to pass it along to her!

  7. Somehow the combination of Tequila and strawberry strikes me as odd.
And then in coffee....oh well, if I can ever lay my hands on it, I'll try :)

Me? I like my coffee black...so I'm passing on this concoction!

Enjoy it! (but don't drink too much!!)

  14. I never tried Tequila Rose but it does sound like it would be interesting in coffee. I enjoy trying different things in coffee and am often pleasantly surprised by the weirdest combinations.

  15. That's a really weird combination. However - when I was a waitress I use to drink black coffee with vodka in it. Now I prefer Bailey's or something like that in my coffee....

  19. Sounds like a good name for a flower.

Maybe the combination of alcohol and coffee means that neither one tastes like it should, but together, they create something magical?

  20. I've never heard of that but it sounds tasty. Unfortunately I won't be able to try it - Tequila in any form makes me lose my mind so I had to swear off of it years ago. It was that or end up on the front page of the newspaper after doing God knows what LOL

  21. My mom likes that stuff; I had a bottle in my refrig and hadn't really liked it too much, so passed it to her, and she LOVED it! Now, I've never heard of putting it in coffee? Not sure I would want to try that, although I do like Bailey's in coffee in the wintertime!

  22. I'm not a coffee drinker, but the name is intriguing. Who knows how I would react to the tequila? I'm not much of a drinker either. I think I may be boring :) I guess that taste combination is unique and tempting.

  23. Actually, kinda sounds like an Eagles song or something. "Tequila Rose and Coffee".

On second thought, sounds more like the Grateful Dead.

  25. I used to have a 'friend' who loved Tequila Rose and would always want everyone to do shots of it with her.

(I say 'friend', because she stabbed me in the back, big time)

  26. I haven't tried it in coffee before, but I like it chilled with ice. It's like drinking strawberry Baily's Irish Cream - there is not a tequila taste to it at all.
