Big Mac Macro Monday

Mac is the biggest fish in our tank, but he's a gentle giant.

As we watched him swimming around we wondered if he had teeth, so I grabbed the macro lens.

Well that answers that, better keep my fingers out of the tank, lol.

    That's awesome (the picture and the discovery.) I'm a little relieved that it was a fish, I thought we were in for a close up of a McDonald's burger. Not that I haven't eaten a big mac... I just wasn't sure if I wanted to look at it that closely!

    I don't think I'm putting my finger in Mac's moth any time soon! :) I still am in love w/ that eye! I went to our Wal mart to look for the puffer fish but no luck! Now that I know they exist I am keeping my eyes open for them!

    Hi Lisa! I'm new here. Hope you don't mind me joining in on the party. Came to your site from a couple of blogs that link in to you and was wowed that you're in Stevens Point, WI! I have an aunt and cousins there. Grew up just an hour or so from there where I still have lots of siblings. Have been in Texas longer than I was a Wisconsinite, tho, but Central Wis will always be home to me...

    God bless you in your cancer freedom (I hope)! My oldest sis battled Stage 3 colon cancer last year w/ surgery and chemo. She's been cleared so I hope it stays that way...

    Mac definitely has teeth. great photo. I think if I could be any color as a fish, yellow would be one of my top choices. Cheerful all the time.

    His eyes are really beautiful and he looks like such a happy fish. I lost my tank to ICK this past week.

    Great macros! Mac has beautiful eyes but such menacing teeth! He reminds me of Goldie, my gold gourami.
