this is a great event... i think many came (especially for the pig roast)... your orange lily photo is so lovely... it looks so ethereal and yet the vivid bright color add an earthy-zesty note to it :)...
Come on now, that is what gives us our charm here in the state of Cheeseheads and Bratwurst. Never forget the beer either. We always laugh that the Catholic Church holds the largest festival for drinking each summer. Now we rarely get a good pig roast by us, corn roasts we get those and I love them.
After cleaning my LCD from the coffee that "somehow" appeared on the screen, when I read the banner, I want to see more! :(From Polka with Pork that is - not coffee on the screen) Cheers, Klaus
Three great shots. The flowers are beautiful and the polka and pig roast is just entertaining. I enjoyed scrolling down the page and looking at your many beautiful photos, especially those hummingbirds.
I can only imagine what a polka service could be but throw in a pig roast and it's gotta be fun LOL I would definitely have to go just to see what that's all about.
The flowers are S.T.U.N.N.I.N.G. However, if I had been drinking or eating something when I saw the sign, I would have spit it out because it was so hilarious!
Ha! I can't believe I didn't see you at the polka and pig roast PARTAY! What a hoot. :)

Hard to believe since they're so eye appealing but day lilies are tough subjects for me...you've done A+ work here! Really like your hostas too...
ReplyDeletePolka Service doesn't interest me, but the pig roast sounds good. Love the flower photos too.

ReplyDeleteNice shots, 1 & 3. As for 2, well, the more Wisconsin bloggers I encounter, the more I begin to wonder about that state...
