Whatever will I do when my son quits wanting to find bugs for me to photograph? I will miss them; I never would have found this one if it wasn't for him.

  1. Ohhh, it's your son who finds them for you?
    You lucky girl!!
This is one handsome lad, this one!!
I think I found some sort of a long legged spider myself. I was totally amazed when I saw the picture!! It had two teeny weeny eyes staring right at me! Eww!

  2. Big Black Antennae! Just how close do you actually have to get to these bugs, hmm? Are you actually across the room and behind a sheet of glass and zooming in (as I might be?)... Have you ever thought of submitting any of your photos to National Geographic?

  4. Your photos are too life like. So this is as close as I want to get to that little bug!

  5. That thing sure is ugly. Not the photos mind you, but the bug itself.

What in the world is it??

  6. We've got those kind of bugs here! But I've never taken a closeup of them - let alone any pic of them!

Your pics are really just getting better and better Lisa!

Did you get the email notice about blogger's choice awards? I am so cranky about them - I've received oodles of emails from people telling me they tried to vote for me and couldn't. What kind of competition is that?!

  9. At first I wanted to say ewwww... but actually I've really been loving all the macro shots (of bugs and everything) you have shared with us lately. :-)

  10. I don't like bugs, but I enjoy your photos!

Fun to be able to study the creatures without actually getting close to them!

  15. Corrections -- I can't stand bugs (not just a specific bug, LOL), and I almost want one as opposed to one one ::rolling eyes:: I need to check my comments better before hitting submit!

  16. Wow. Very cool. But at the same time, I am not a big bug fan..... but I can hang as long as it isn't another spider.

Yes, how close do you actually get? I know you have an awesome lens but I would be like in the next state... :)
