Yet again my feed isn't updating your blog :o( I'm going to delete and then add you again and see if that works darn it anyway. I can't believe what I've been missing over here! The new design is amazing, so easy to read and make my way around. Just beautiful. Oh and of course the picture is incredible! :o)
i don't know to which i would say "wow!" - to the acrobatic feat of these two dragonflies or to their colors... but i would definitely say "kudos" for capturing them in this semi-erotic position :)... and seriously speaking, the creatures' seeming fragility is a good metaphor for the "heart" --- handle it with care :)...
If it did not remind me of the mating frenzy on some of my various body parts on my tubing trip, I would say, "Awww... I heart you too." But since it did remind me that i was the spot of choice for mating season less than a week ago, I will say, "Cute, but it creeps me out!" ;0)
i love animal sex. its hilarious. especially insects and birds. they're not mammals so its not like watching a dog humping a leg or something, you know? what TMI?
Lisa, this is so stinking cool! And the fact that you bent them like that makes it perfect! KIDDING!

ReplyDeleteIt took me a moment to realize that was two damselflies and that they're mating. If they're both damselflies, does that make them the "L" word?
ReplyDeleteI was showing my wife these pictures and she stated "Hhhmm, dragonflies are aware of the 69 position?!"
ReplyDeleteSeriously, that's a great eye you have Lisa to catch that!
