I was happy when Gattina jumped in and said she would host the next Fun Monday because I was starting to panic, worrying about who was going to host and if I should just maybe go off on my own and start posting a "Macro Monday" like I have thought about doing. Then, she goes and asks us something so revealing that I still almost didn't sign up.
By Sunday, I am sitting here thinking, 'Wow, where did the weekend go?' and 'What the heck, I'll reveal what a disorganized mess I am.' Honestly, I blog from many, many places. My husband travels with his job and I often go with him. So I might be blogging from a motel in Door County or a Starbucks in Lake Geneva, I might be offline preparing a post or photos while sitting in the car while hubs is in a plant. Sometimes, I prepare a written post on the PDA while waiting for him.
Often I sit in bed and blog, or if I really need some place to concentrate I move to a chair in the yard. The yard is great place to think, communing with nature while my wheels turn. But there is another place I blog and read blogs and scrapbook and make cards and . . .
So there it is, in all its glory, my desk! I've made a few cards this week and trusted that you wanted my desk as it set today, no preparing it, scrubbing it down and cleaning it off. Yes, my laptop does still fit on it.

Guess what, hubs updated our Newdae Photography Website, if you have a chance maybe you can pop over and check it out?
LOL! I feel so SPECIAL to have my very own comment posted! It's true and I hope that many others will find you and hubby's photography as beautiful as I do.
ReplyDeleteI've got to say that I'm IMPRESSED with how tidy your desk is. Really. You could never know how impressive that is unless you've seen mine, but TRUST ME!
ReplyDeleteHehe! You are so going to think I cleaned my desk for Fun Monday, and it is soooo not true! i am totally anal and only can think when everything is in its place. That, and i was having company over, so i scrubbed the whole house! Loved the little glimpse into your "space."
ReplyDeleteI just discovered your email and added you to the list ! Isn't it interesting to see where we blog ? I too move into the garden when the weather is nice. Laptops are a great invention you can blog everywhere even sitting on a tree !
ReplyDeleteYour desk looks like it sees many creative moments. I think that's far more important than having a very clean desk.
ReplyDeleteAnd I can just see you sitting in the yard, charming the birds while you post!
I love your desk it looks like there is so much interesting stuff there! I want to have a go with the stamps! I'm also craving a Mocha Frappachino now!
ReplyDeleteoh ya... my kind of neat. (:
ReplyDeleteTotally forgot about this one! I'll have to do something about this!
ReplyDeleteBusy busy busy!!
Yes, my new camera is wonderful, I love it!
I love your desk. It's so me ;-)
ReplyDeleteYour blogging habits sound much like mine! Who wants to sit at a desk anyway?
ReplyDeleteI don't see a mess...it looks pretty darned organized if you ask me! But you didn't ask me. Okay, okay --so I'm tellin' ya, it DOES look organized. And I bet you know just where everything is. I so envy bloggers who have the luxury of a laptop.
ReplyDeleteMy Fun Monday Blogging Area is posted now if you'd like to take a gander.....stop by. Have a great day.
I like uncluttered work spaces. Funny how different people thrive in different environments, be they inside or out. Macro Monday sounds like a great idea...might have to play along one day once I get a macro lens :-)
ReplyDeleteOh, you are so lucky to be able to blog from so many places like that! I don't have a laptop, so no outdoors for me. It's either at my desk at home or...sometimes from my desk at work (I am so going to be busted one of these days). And your desk isn't very messy at all!
ReplyDeleteMy love seat looks a lot like your desk. Heh.
ReplyDeletea busy space for a busy lady - glad you have left room for your laptop!! lol take care, love Judyx
ReplyDeleteThink you have enough projects? Your amazing
ReplyDeleteThe photography site is amazing! Well done. :D
ReplyDeleteI like the empty Starbucks in the corner. It's nice that you showed the true desk, and not the cleaned up version. I was not so brave.
ReplyDeleteI didn't dare to show my messy study and opt for the neater Entertainment Room. :P You are so savvy with gadgets. I ought to learn how to use the PDA and blog wherever I go.
ReplyDeleteI don't feel so bad now I see that like to keep everything on your desk. I can see the advantages of being mobile!
ReplyDeleteYou been given a blog award!
ReplyDeleteVisit Izzy 'N Emmy for more details!
So erm, have a look at my work space, you'll feel better. And the thought of blogging from a starbucks sounds fabulous. :D
ReplyDeleteWhat a brave soul you are! I carefully avoided as much of MY mess as I could when I took my inside desk photos (though some does still show if you look closely). I’m relieved to know I’m not the only one out there blogging with ‘clutter’ in the vicinity. Aren’t laptops the best? Being able to blog all over the place is so ‘kewl’ … Cute Fun Monday logo too! I’ve made a few myself … including one especially for today … using a cartoon I found at Chuck’s a while back.
ReplyDeleteHugs and blessings,
Your desk looks messy/organized. You know, like you know where everything is and can put your finger on it, if you need it. But, you should have taken photos of each and every distant place you wrote a blog entry this week. That would have been amazing.
ReplyDeleteGood luck with the new grandchild.
Your desk says a lot about you! I'd love to see your rubber stamping creations!
ReplyDeleteNow THAT'S my kind of desk!
ReplyDeleteyour desk looks very loved!!
ReplyDeleteI love being able to blog whereever I want with my trusty laptop..it is marvelous.
I think I would like the traveling part! Your desk doesn't look TOO bad, and I'm impressed that you've left room for your laptop!
ReplyDeleteYeah I would blog at my desk, but mine is covered in papers. Right now I am in bed watching The Holiday
ReplyDeleteFirst, good luck with the new baby's arrival--hope you don't have to travel too far to get in the act.
ReplyDeleteSounds like a good arrangement to be able to travel with your husband and send us your blogging impressions from so many interesting places. And, any desk that can produce such great photos is a good thing, in my opinion.
Well, in the current state of my desk, I do not think I will be playing along! But you are brave :-)
ReplyDeleteLisa, the new website looks great. I really enjoyed looking at your photos...as usual.
ReplyDeleteOOHH very neat looking!! Iam somewhat of a clean freak....but Grizzly said yesterday I should have clean house come to clean the office..specifically the desk!!
ReplyDeleteOur desk looks messy most of the time. I don't really have a place to do crafts or scrapbook, so I haven't done it since we moved here. One day I will have a bigger place and fewer kids to do things for and hopefully will have my big projects done and working and I will have time and space to do the things I used to do.
ReplyDeleteYour desk shot would work perfectly for this week's Round Robin Photo Challenge!
