Sometimes it amazes me how many different birds we can have in our yard on just one day. They kinda made me think of a box of crayons.
Peek-a-boo
Hey, how did you get in here?
Hey, who’s this?
Cool, it’s an Indigo Bunting and he brought a few friends.
All birds (and chipmunks) left the photo shoot with full bellies, even if they had to dine on dandelion puffs when I ran out of seed.
When people posts pictures of birds I don't see I sometimes feel deprived and a bit envious. I'm happy to say that most of what you've got here I DO get to see...though our Indigo Bunting and Cardinal seem to be MIA lately...I think since the rainy weather started. These are fantastic photos of all! And what a great title!
ReplyDeleteGreat shots! Each and everyone! And the Rattler images are impressive! Great work - and I'll be back!
ReplyDeleteCheers, Klaus
Beautiful shots. I didn't realize chipmunks can climb trees. In our yard, they just stay on the ground and leave the trees for squirrels. And very cool that you have Indigo Buntings in your yard. We've seen those down by the Chattahoochee River.
ReplyDeleteAwesome pictures....
ReplyDeleteIt's surprising the chipmunk stayed still long enough to get that great shot of him. Those things are always busy!
So pretty! I love the Indigo Bunting. Wish we had them here. The colors in my yard range all the way from brown to black and red to blue...whoopie :(
ReplyDeleteLovely shots!
ReplyDeleteI think I might've seen an indigo bunting on my way to work today! It flew in front of the car and I thought for sure I'd hit it. I'd never seen that kind of bird before and was wondering what it was.
ReplyDeleteThose are so beautiful. So seed is the trick. What kind is that yellow bird. We saw one here the other day and don't remember seeing one before? Beautiful photos. Those blue buntings are gorgeous.
ReplyDeletegreat shots and I am jealous....we don't have that many birds because of our cats...also I don't have bird feeders - "come for dinner and be dinner"...it just seems too cruel!!!
